“Hand of Grace”

“Hand of Grace”

Anything of value I’ve done
Is only by Your Hand of grace
Forever You my pardon won
Which nothing can ever erase

Strength in self I don’t possess
But all I am and have is in You
My Rock, My Mighty Fortress
Without You, no good do I do

All that matters is You, not me
If not for You, I’d certainly fall
I pray to serve You obediently
My Jesus, My Lord, All in All

Romans 5:17 (NASB)

For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

John 1:16 (NASB)

For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace

“I’m Free”

“I’m Free”

I’ll fix my eyes upon Jesus alone
In Him, my hope won’t grow faint
He’s my King, Lord, and Savior
I’m His forgiven, thankful saint

The joy of salvation I have in Him
His mercy and great grace abound
To understand His Truth is to know
In His Word, true wisdom is found

I fail miserably if I rely on myself
Trust in what I feel, think, and see
But when I focus only upon Him
My mind is at peace and I’m free

Proverbs 31:24 (NASB)
Be strong and let your heart take courage,
All you who hope in the LORD.

Psalms 19:8 (NASB)
The precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.

“He Is Your Destiny” (re-post)

“He Is Your Destiny”

He is your Redeemer; Your Forever Friend
His love, mercy, and grace will never end
He is mighty and invincible in His power
Eternal Lord and King; Shelter and Tower

Dependence upon Jesus makes you strong
His Word sustains and carries you along
Prayer is your source of peace and hope
Brings you through; enables you to cope

Remember all that He has done for you
He has forgiven you and made you new
His Truth is like a mirror; in it you see
Your Savior’s Face; He is your destiny

Psalms 37:39-40 (NASB)
39 But the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; He is their strength in time of trouble.
40 The LORD helps them and delivers them; He delivers them from the wicked and saves them, Because they take refuge in Him.

“For His Glory”

“For His Glory”

Who are we that God notices us?
Creator of All; Transcendent King
Why did He send His Son to die?
On the Cross, a Perfect Offering

Why does He hear our prayers?
In Jesus, we have righteousness
How can we receive forgiveness?
When our sins to Him we confess

Why were we put upon this earth?
For His glory, and because He lives
What motivates us to live for Him?
Because He is ours; and we are His

Ephesians 2:4-7 (NASB)
4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,
5 even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),
6 and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
7 so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

“Before Our Eyes”

“Before Our Eyes”

Beautiful and breathtaking; a Homecoming near
The trump sound announcing that Jesus is here
What joy will capture us in the air as we rise
Precious faith is made reality before our eyes

We’ll be changed; transformed from inside out
No longer plagued by sin; nor fear and doubt
Those dead in Christ will precede our ascent
Joined to bodies glorified from fragile tents

Death expunged, victory; hello, not goodbye
Mind of Christ, clarity; no more asking why
That once obscured; will appear clear to view
Lives once shattered; will forever be as new

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (NKJV)
16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

“Jesus Holds Your Future”

“Jesus Holds Your Future”

The past is but a memory
Mere shadow, silhouette
Don’t let it rule over you
Close the door on regret

It does no good for you
To dwell upon sorrows
Jesus holds your future
And all your tomorrows

Dear ones, consider this
You’re His for eternity
You’re hidden in Him
And in Him you’re free

Colossians 3:3 (NASB)
For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

“Where Will Your Destination Be?”

Just as it was in the days of Noah
Is exactly how the world is today
God’s name is being blasphemed
As each person goes their own way

Jesus gave His life a ransom for sin
He came to save that which was lost
God’s mercy and grace to fallen man
God’s Son sacrificed upon the Cross

His salvation is a gift offered to all
For those who are willing to receive
A miracle is wrought within the heart
Faith given to understand and believe

Don’t leave this earth without the Savior
Regret will be your keepsake for eternity
You’ll live forever; either in Heaven or Hell
Question is, where will your destination be?

John 3:16-18 (NASB)
16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
17 “For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.
18 “He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

“How Beautiful It Will Be”

“How Beautiful It Will Be”

Moments tick by, and the anticipation grows
When Jesus will return, only the Father knows
God’s Children await the arrival of their King
Joy stirs within as praises to Him they bring

They read His Word and pray for those lost
Mindful that Jesus paid for them a heavy cost
How unfathomable are the riches of His grace
How beautiful it will be for them to see His face

Heaven’s joy will be for them to dwell with Him
To know as they are fully known; to be rid of sin
Hope they find not in this tent of flesh and bone
Only in their Savior; through Jesus Christ alone

Titus 2:13 (NASB) looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus

“For Once And For Always”

“For Once and For Always”

For once and for always; forever we have been saved
So extraordinary a price for us that Jesus Christ paid
He made Himself a guilt offering for us at the Cross
Perfect, Holy Lamb slain; He willingly paid the cost
While once we were dead in sin, He raised us to life
Brought us out of darkness into His Everlasting Light
Broken, brittle hearts; He fashioned completely new
Blind, dark minds; He opened to the purity of Truth
Once we were searching; we found our hope in Him
Once we were empty; now His Spirit resides within

Hebrews 7:25 (NASB)
Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

John 10:27-29 (NASB)
27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me;
28 and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.
29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.

“Jesus Is Lord”

“Jesus Is Lord”

Hearts and minds shielded by God’s peace
Find shelter under the shadow of His wings
He is the Giver of Life and All Good Gifts
He is the Author and Creator of All Things

The Father’s Only Son; The Preeminent One
King of Kings, Lord of Lords; First and Last
Word Incarnate; Firstborn Over All Creation
Now and tomorrow; throughout all ages past

At the Name of Jesus, every knee will bow
Every eye will see and every tongue confess
Jesus is Lord, to the glory of God the Father
And forever He will reign in righteousness

Psalms 11:7 (NASB)
For the LORD is righteous, He loves righteousness;
The upright will behold His face.

“Compromise”

“Compromise”

Either we stand fully for the Truth
Or eat rotting fruits of compromise
Ignoring error just to keep peace
Straddling the fence on both sides

If we want to do things our way
Then we’re not committed to Him
Either we follow Him or we stray
Serve Him or tolerate our own sin

The world hates us with a fury
But it was He they rejected first
They were His judge and jury
Spiritual blindness at its worst

Jesus showed to us His mercy
Demonstrated His unfailing love
Saved us from a dark eternity
For a forever in heaven above

John 17:17 (NASB)
Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.

Psalms 119:160 (NASB)
The sum of Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous ordinances is everlasting

Jude 1:3 (NASB)
Beloved, while I was making every effort to write you about our common salvation, I felt the necessity to write to you appealing that you contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all handed down to the saints.

John 1:10-13 (NASB)
10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.
11 He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him.
12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,
13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

“While You Still Have Breath”

“While You Still Have Breath”

You must answer these questions
Your day of reckoning will come
Where will you spend eternity?
Do you know Jesus, God’s Son?

You can try and ignore the Truth
But your mortality you can’t ignore
When your soul is required of you
What will you have been living for?

Give this serious thought, you see
Because regardless of how you feel
God’s Word says you live only once
The judgment that awaits you is real

Jesus died so that you could be free
From sin’s curse and unending death
If you just ask Him to, He’ll forgive you
Do it today, while you still have breath

Mark 8:36-37 (NASB)
36 For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul?
37 For what will a man give in exchange for his soul?

John 3:16-18 (NASB)
16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
17 “For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.
18 “He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

“An Eye To The Sky”

“An Eye To The Sky”

A moment of trial; then the joy and glory of eternity
A darkened mirror; then the dawning of a new reality
Awfulness of sin; then its ugliness banished from sight
A decaying, mortal coil; perfected in incorruptible light

An earthly mind ; then a clear mind without limitation
A faith hoped for; then with Jesus, Author of Salvation
A weak, frail vessel; then no physical impediments at all
An eye to the sky; then Heaven-bound at trumpet’s call

I Peter 5:10 (NASB) After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.

“All He Wants Us To Know”

“All He Wants Us To Know”

Our eyes will gaze upon Jesus
From this world, we will depart
We discern this in our spirits
Hold His promise in our hearts
No longer will we be strangers
Aliens in a hostile, foreign land
Our Heavenly Home is calling
Prepared by His own Hand
It is beyond imagination
What our Lord has planned
For we who love Him so
But He has provided us
Through His Holy Word
All He wants us to know

I Corinthians 2:9-10 (NASB)
but just as it is written, “THINGS WHICH EYE HAS NOT SEEN AND EAR HAS NOT HEARD, AND which HAVE NOT ENTERED THE HEART OF MAN, ALL THAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM.”
For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.

“He Is Sovereign”

“He Is Sovereign”

God the Father answers our prayers
Many times in ways we cannot see
For He is sovereign; we are not
And only He knows what will be

His thoughts are not our thoughts
They are infinitely above our own
He is good always; all of the time
He does not leave us to go it alone

He views us through His Son Jesus
Made spotless in His righteousness
By His Spirit, we have been sealed
And He sanctifies us unto holiness

I Chronicles 29:11 (NASB)
Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, indeed everything that is in the heavens and the earth; Yours is the dominion, O LORD, and You exalt Yourself as head over all.

Galatians 3:26 (NASB)
26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.
