“I’m Free”

“I’m Free”

I’ll fix my eyes upon Jesus alone
In Him, my hope won’t grow faint
He’s my King, Lord, and Savior
I’m His forgiven, thankful saint

The joy of salvation I have in Him
His mercy and great grace abound
To understand His Truth is to know
In His Word, true wisdom is found

I fail miserably if I rely on myself
Trust in what I feel, think, and see
But when I focus only upon Him
My mind is at peace and I’m free

Proverbs 31:24 (NASB)
Be strong and let your heart take courage,
All you who hope in the LORD.

Psalms 19:8 (NASB)
The precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.

“For Once And For Always”

“For Once and For Always”

For once and for always; forever we have been saved
So extraordinary a price for us that Jesus Christ paid
He made Himself a guilt offering for us at the Cross
Perfect, Holy Lamb slain; He willingly paid the cost
While once we were dead in sin, He raised us to life
Brought us out of darkness into His Everlasting Light
Broken, brittle hearts; He fashioned completely new
Blind, dark minds; He opened to the purity of Truth
Once we were searching; we found our hope in Him
Once we were empty; now His Spirit resides within

Hebrews 7:25 (NASB)
Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

John 10:27-29 (NASB)
27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me;
28 and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.
29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.

“His Faithfulness Endures”

“His Faithfulness Endures”

Christ is your Hope of Glory; He is Your Tower
Sure Refuge; Awesome Strength; Mighty Power
In times of trouble, His Hands will steady yours
He is always the same; His faithfulness endures

Forever, you are His; you have His Eternal Seal
His Spirit teaches you; all Truth He will reveal
In this land of darkness; your eyes witness pain
In eternity it is forgotten, never to return again

Psalms 36:5 (NASB)
Your lovingkindness, O LORD, extends to the heavens, Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.

Hebrews 13:8 (NASB)
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

“Beacon of Hope”

“Beacon of Hope”

Your Word is Light to my heart
In a world grown dark and cold
A Beacon of Hope to my mind
Absolute Truth to which I hold

The world is so confused today
Following their own delusions
So unsteady and easily swayed
Drawing their own conclusions

The more that I learn from You
I see things through Your eyes
Discern the false from the true
The foolishness from the wise

Some deny that You even exist
This I cannot begin to understand
In their sin and pride they resist
Blinded to works of Your Hand

I am grateful that You notice me
You are familiar with all my ways
You hold me in Your sovereignty
I will praise You now and always

Psalms 119:105 (NASB)
Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.

On the wings of anticipation
Hope of eternity takes flight
Brings joy in the morning
Peace in the deep of night

Our Savior’s sweet, gentle voice
Draws us even nearer to Him
Walking together, side by side
Earth quickly fades, grows dim

Heart and mind yearn
To hear the call Home
In a brief instant of time
Forever at His Throne

Romans 8:25 (NASB)
But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it.

II Corinthians 5:1-2 (NASB)
1 For we know that if the earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2 For indeed in this house we groan, longing to be clothed with our dwelling from heaven
