This is our prayer to You for each day
To set our hearts upon eternal things
You are sovereign; You are in control
Of whatever tomorrow to us brings

This life is but a wisp; a mere vapor
Treasures stored up on earth will pass
Each breath and heartbeat is Your gift
Only works done for Your glory will last

A brilliantly wonderful future we have
Perfect, Heavenly harmony of life anew
Joy unspeakable; as it was meant to be
And forever we will be worshipping You

Glorifying Him in deeds and speech
Submitting and obeying Him in love
Praying, listening to the Spirit teach
Focusing on Heavenly things above

To be like Christ; to see Him as He is

To have this mortal put on immortality
Is to be perfected in His righteousness

To be able to worship in full expression
Is a freedom such as we’ve never known
To praise Him; to dwell in His presence
Is the joy of forevermore at His Throne
