“Forever Love”

“Forever Love”

Wherever our treasure is, then there our hearts also will be
Wordliness brings bondage; our liberty in Christ sets us free
Compromise is the fool’s path; Truth is the way of the wise
Sin confounds its victims; God’s Word opens spiritual eyes

Pride is the height of arrogance; humility is a lesson learned
Great is His grace; His salvation, a gift that no one can earn
He is our Sanctuary, though trials and troubles upon us come
He is Jesus, our Forever Love when our time on earth is done

Hebrews 13:5-6 (NASB)
6 so that we confidently say, “THE LORD IS MY HELPER, I WILL NOT BE AFRAID. WHAT WILL MAN DO TO ME?”

Sanctification is an ongoing and lifelong process
As the vestiges of this world the Spirit strips away
The sin that we hide; the thin veneer of our pride
Is exposed to the Light; as night is turned into day

The idols that captivate us; those beautiful illusions
Shatter as Truth’s Sword smashes them one by one
Taking their place is God’s Holiness and His grace
The masterpiece-to-be; a mirror image of God’s Son

II Corinthians 3:18 (NASB)
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.

I Corinthians 15:49 (NASB) Just as we have borne the image of the earthy, we will also bear the image of the heavenly.

Philippians 1:6 (NASB)
For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.

“Jesus Is Lord”

“Jesus Is Lord”

Hearts and minds shielded by God’s peace
Find shelter under the shadow of His wings
He is the Giver of Life and All Good Gifts
He is the Author and Creator of All Things

The Father’s Only Son; The Preeminent One
King of Kings, Lord of Lords; First and Last
Word Incarnate; Firstborn Over All Creation
Now and tomorrow; throughout all ages past

At the Name of Jesus, every knee will bow
Every eye will see and every tongue confess
Jesus is Lord, to the glory of God the Father
And forever He will reign in righteousness

Psalms 11:7 (NASB)
For the LORD is righteous, He loves righteousness;
The upright will behold His face.

“Shield So Strong”

“Shield So Strong”

Your Father cares about all that concerns you
He wants to help you with everything you do
You have no reason to be fraught with worry
He’s not too busy for you; He’s not in a hurry
Always in His presence; precious in His sight
In Him there is no darkness; nor fear of night
He is Your Protector; Your Shield So Strong
Your Defender against evil forces of wrong
Prayers and cries of your heart He will hear
Hide yourself in Him; trust, for He is near

Proverbs 30:5 (NASB)
Every word of God is tested;
He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.

“Have No Fear”

“Have No Fear”

Now is the time to speak the Truth of God’s Word
Now is the time for the gospel message to be heard
Now is the time to be bold witnesses for Him today
Now is the time for us to get on our knees and pray

Now is the time to be salt and light to a world blind
Now is the time for us to shine so His light they find
Now is the time for us to remember our mission here
Now is the time to be strong in Him and have no fear

Psalms 31:24 (NASB)
24 Be strong and let your heart take courage, All you who hope in the LORD.

Ephesians 5:15-16 (NASB)
15 Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise,
16 making the most of your time, because the days are evil.

“To Know Him”

“To Know Him”

We lack nothing; we’re complete in Jesus
Our Strong Defender, Strength, and Power
What a remarkable Truth for us to consider
To savor each moment; each day and hour

There’s a sweetness He brings to our lives
Just to know Him is the best thing there is
We’re held secure in His everlasting arms
Now and for always, unfailingly, we’re His

Psalms 28:7 (NASB)
The LORD is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart exults,
And with my song I shall thank Him.

Psalms 34:8 (NASB)
O taste and see that the LORD is good;
How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!

Hold on to the Truth
With all of your might
Do not ever be tempted
To deviate left or right

This is the narrow way
Straight is its direction
Obey the Word and pray
Be open to correction

Never accept compromise
Be wise, alert, and discerning
Smooth tongues tell many lies
To apostasy they are turning

To have integrity is to be free
While a fool is captive to pride
To bow to God on bended knee
Brings His children peace inside

Proverbs 2:7-8 (NASB)
7 He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk in integrity,
8 Guarding the paths of justice, And He preserves the way of His godly ones.

“Perfect Masterpiece”

“Perfect Masterpiece”

God reveals Himself to us within His Word
But certain things we aren’t meant to know
We’re finite creatures; our minds are fallen
Beyond scriptural boundaries we mustn’t go

Our hearts are corrupt, wicked, and deceived
We can’t give credence to faulty perceptions
We’re to trust in Him who we have believed
His precepts keep us from worldly deceptions

Truth’s our measure; our ultimate plumbline
His absolute standard which doesn’t change
The Creator’s perfect masterpiece for all time
Testament to His sovereignty from age to age

Deuteronomy 29:29 (NASB)
The secret things belong to the LORD our God

Psalms 119:160 (NASB)
The sum of Your word is truth,
And every one of Your righteous ordinances is everlasting.

“Joy Of His Salvation”

“Joy Of His Salvation”

May God pour out His blessings today
Joy of His salvation permeate your soul
Your mind would be at peace as you pray
For He has everything under His control

No better place to be than in His hands
Under the shadow of His mighty wings
Your joys and sorrows He understands
Comfort in His Word to you He brings

Talk to Him, but be sure to listen too
Be open to learn what He has to say
Draw closer to Him; He will to You
His Truth will always light your way

Psalms 3:8 (NASB)
Salvation belongs to the LORD; Your blessing be upon Your people! Selah.

Psalms 71:23 (NASB)
My lips will shout for joy when I sing praises to You; And my soul, which You have redeemed.

Nehemiah 8:10 (NASB)
the joy of the LORD is your strength.

“Where’s Your Heart”

“Where’s Your Heart”

Where’s your heart today
Is it fixed upon your Savior
Or have you tucked it away
So you can deal with it later

What’s troubling your soul
You won’t give Him in prayer
You feel so distant from Him
Yet the truth is that He cares

Remember at times like these
To take refuge in His Word
Get down upon your knees
Know that you’ll be heard

Conquer lies in your mind
With His Holy Scripture
Only then will you find
He fills the entire picture

Psalms 62:8 (NASB)
Trust in Him at all times, O people;
Pour out your heart before Him;
God is a refuge for us. Selah.

I Peter 5:7 (NASB)
casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.

“For Those With Eyes To See”

“For Those With Eyes To See”

Whether it is days or weeks; months or years
Whenever the timing of the rapture might be
When the trumpet’s sound echoes in our ears
Then we will go to be with our Lord for eternity

The signs are obvious for those with eyes to see
This world is spiraling down; quickly descending
Toward a time of utter, unparalleled catastrophe
Still, many scoff at the warnings God is sending

This world will not get better; it is not evolving
Despite the falsehoods many want to believe
Truth is a Person; His Name is Jesus Christ
Only through Him can salvation be received

II Peter 3:3-6 (NASB)
3 Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts,
4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of creation.”
5 For when they maintain this, it escapes their notice that by the word of God the heavens existed long ago and the earth was formed out of water and by water,
6 through which the world at that time was destroyed, being flooded with water.
